【内容简介】
《中国古代雕塑》是“中国文化与文明”丛书之一卷，由中国外文出版社和美国耶鲁大学出版社共同策划、编辑、并分别以中文和英文同时出版，向全世界发行。
全书约40万字。卷首的两篇文章由本书的两位作者撰写，综述中国雕塑发展演变的人文环境和轨迹，供审美观念相异的中西方读者作导读之用。主体部分由上下两编构成，共四章，由当今对中国雕塑研究造诣精深的四位中外学者分别撰写。他们以新的视角和富有启迪性的论述方法介绍了自原始社会至清代各个历史时期中国雕塑的门类、艺术样式、创作成就、时代风格，以及政治、经济、文化、、域外艺术等对其形成的影响。本书兼容了中西方学者对中国古代雕塑研究的*成果，文中有关新近考古发现和边地雕塑遗存的探讨，揭示出众多鲜为人知的艺术现象，令人目一新。
随文配有雕塑遗存图片430余幅，其中大部分为中国摄影家亲往实地所摄或由中国各博物馆提供，流失的雕塑的图片，则广泛庋集于美、英、法、日等国博物馆、美术馆、寺庙和私人收藏。集中外中国雕塑藏品图片于一卷，是本书异于已出版的同类著作的色之一。
书中附有《中国政区图》、《中国历代纪年表》、《中国历代部分帝王年表》、《中国古代雕塑主要遗存分布图》等，以便读者查阅对照。

Tips for reducing the shipping cost

Volumetric weight refers to the overall size of a parcel and is measured in volumetric kilograms. Volumetric weight can be calculated by multiplying the length, width, and height of a parcel (in cm) and dividing that figure by 5000 (some carriers use a divisor of 6000/7000 and etc).
