大学考古学和人类学博士，世界知名考古学家，曾任加州大学圣巴巴拉分校人类学系教授。他因乐于承担向公众传播人类学和历史学知识的社会责任，于1997年被美国考古学会授予“公共教育贡献奖”。已出版专著20余本，其中《世界史前史》、《大暖化》、《洪水、饥馑与帝王》、《法老王朝》、《漫长的夏天：气候如何改变人类文明》等已被译成中文出，版，深受读者喜爱。

Tips for reducing the shipping cost

Volumetric weight refers to the overall size of a parcel and is measured in volumetric kilograms. Volumetric weight can be calculated by multiplying the length, width, and height of a parcel (in cm) and dividing that figure by 5000 (some carriers use a divisor of 6000/7000 and etc).
